Mustafa Alemi

CLDP Alum, Fulbright Fellow

Mustafa Alemi is a recent graduate of San Diego State University where he studied politics and an incoming Fulbright Fellow in Malaysia. In his undergraduate career, Alemi worked on Capitol Hill in the House of Representatives as a CLDP Fellow and served as a co-director of the SDSU Divest campaign, which sought to have San Diego State divest from holdings in companies complicit in the Israeli Occupation of Palestine. Alemi also researches and writes on the politics of the Muslim world, most recently examining Turkish democracy under the Justice and Development Party. He intends on pursuing a career in academia and activism.
