Najmah Brown combines quiet strength, intelligence, confidence, femininity, and a healthy dose of creativity to succeed in the competitive field of international law. Practicing between the United States and the Middle East as an attorney and the Managing Director of the International Department of Al Adwani Law Firm, she has found a position in which she can use her talents and experience to work at the top of her profession as well as enjoy freedom in the work place and a healthy balance between her professional and private life.

At the age of 19, Najmah interned as a student for Black Entertainment Television and ultimately began producing. She worked as a morning radio show producer for K-DAY (Los Angeles) and also worked on projects for Si-TV, FOX, BET as well as other networks and entertainment companies. Najmah then went on to run a full-house production company, The Company Pictures, where she oversaw business development and managed all productions.

After working professionally in the entertainment business for well over 7 years, Najmah decided to return to school to fulfill her dream of becoming an attorney by attending Thomas Jefferson School of Law in San Diego, California. In addition to her other business endeavors, she provides business and legal consultancy for media companies, on-camera talent and entertainment professionals, and has had the pleasure of working with CBS, The Oprah Winfrey Network, Al Jazeera America, Zodiak Americas, and DanceOn Inc.

In her current position at Al-Adwani Law Firm, Najmah’s primary practice area is international business transactions, agency and franchise, media and technology, and alternative dispute resolution. She also develops and manages client relations on an international and local basis.

Najmah completed her Bachelor’s Degree in Public Administration and a Master’s Degree in Negotiation, Conflict Resolution and Peacebuilding at California State University, Dominguez Hills. She is currently licensed to practice law by the State Bar of California.
